The Mesler home was a 2003 Parade Home. From the beautiful stone front porch to the light maple floors throughout the first floor, this home offers magnificent features in a traditional style house plan.

The Meslers began working with Gale Builders in the spring of 2003 after selecting a lot in Cottage Hills located in Grand Haven, MI. The lot offers a gradual slope into a wooded back yard. Gale Builders and the Meslers were able to take advantage of the sloping lot with a walk out basement.

The home offers a warm vinyl exterior with stone on the front porch. The front deck uses a white stained cedar and beautiful red door with windows surround. The large back porch was completed in Timbertech decking and cedar and has painted rails with metal spindles.

The inside of the home is inviting as you soon as step foot in the door. It boasts a 2 story foyer with a open stairwell to the 4 bedroom second floor. The floors throughout are grade two maple with a clear stain offering a magnificent color and contrast.

The walls throughout the interior and dining room are detailed with wainscoting painted in soft white. The dining room offers a tray ceiling with heavy crown molding and an inviting door into the kitchen.

The kitchen boasts white finished maple cabinets with black granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The design of the kitchen takes advantage of the view into the back yard by placing the sink on a pennisula that looks onto the breakfast space and backyard.

Off of the kitchen can be found a mud room and laundry that is conveniently connected to the garage. The mud room offers wainscoting with pegs for hanging coats and a seat that opens for storage of hats and gloves.
